Percentage wise calculation for RRB Group D score
The RRBs will use percentile-based normalization to calculate the RRB Group D score. In percentile based normalization, the marks obtained are converted into a scale of 100 to 0 for each set of examinees. Percentile score refers to the percentage of candidates who have scored less than or equal to the specified percentile (same or lower raw score) in that test. The percentile score of each candidate will be converted into normalized score by the RRB by interpolating the raw score on the base shift. The base shift will be calculated using standard mathematical formulas for interpolation.
